Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors, to execute Amendment No. 1 to the employment agreement with Brent Buche, Water Resources Agency General Manager, to place Mr. Buche at Step 6 of the salary schedule for his position, effective January 18, 2020. (ADDED VIA ADDENDUM)

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

Approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to execute, Amendment No. 1 to the employment agreement with Brent Buche, Water Resources Agency General Manager, to place Mr. Buche at Step 6 of the salary schedule for his position, effective January 18, 2020.

 

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:

Mr. Buche was appointed the General Manager of the Agency effective July 1, 2019, at Step 5 of the salary schedule for his position, pursuant to Personnel Policies and Practices Resolution No. 98-394, Sections A.I.I I.I and A.I.I 1.5.  Mr. Buche has requested advancement to Step 6 of the salary schedule.
