RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Finance Committee:

a. Support recommending that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors recommend that the Monterey County Water Resources Board of Supervisors approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with COWI, North America increasing the current contract amount by $250,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $500,000; and
b. Authorize the General Manager to execute Amendment No. 2.

SUMMARY DISCUSSION:
On November 11, 2018 the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors approved recommending to the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Supervisors the award of a Professional Services Agreement with COWI, North America to provide Program Management services for the Interlake Tunnel.

On December 4, 2018, the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Supervisors approved the award of a Professional Services Agreement with COWI, North America.

On September 10, 2019, the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement for a term extension to March 31, 2021.

This Amendment No. 2 will increase the current contract amount by $250,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $500,000.
