RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Receive, review and select between two candidates to fill the At-Large position vacancy on the Agricultural Advisory Committee.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On June 25, 2020, during a regular meeting of the Monterey County Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC), the AAC conducted two unsuccessful votes to select one of two candidates to fill the vacant At-Large position.
The AAC passed a motion to request the Board of Supervisors receive all information available to the Committee in order to select one individual to fill the vacancy.
