Title: a. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with The Coalition of Homeless Services Providers to establish the terms and conditions in which the Health Department, Behavioral Health Bureau will support the 100 Day Challenge to End Youth Homelessness; and
b. Approve the non-standard risk provisions, as recommended by the Director of Health; and
c. Authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not significantly alter the scope of services.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Coalition of Homeless Services Providers (CHSP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate homelessness in Monterey and San Benito County by promoting interagency coordination to develop and sustain a comprehensive system of housing and support services. CHSP and its agency members serve low-income and homeless individuals to maximize the self-sufficiency of individuals and families. Monterey County Behavioral Health Bureau (MCBHB) will be supporting CHSP in their 100-Day Challenge to End Youth Homelessness.
