RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Adopt a Resolution to approve proposed amendments to the Conflict of Interest Code of the Information Technology Department of the County of Monterey.

SUMMARY:
Following the biennial review of the Conflict of Interest Code, as required by Government Code section 87306.5, the Information Technology Department of the County of Monterey has amended its Conflict of Interest Code to update its designated positions to include the positions of Management Analyst I, II, and III.

Pursuant to Government Code sections 82011 and 87303, the Board of Supervisors is the code reviewing body and may approve the code as submitted, revise the proposed code and approve it as revised, or return the proposed code to the agency for revision and resubmission. Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the proposed amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Information Technology Department of the County of Monterey.

OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
County Counsel has reviewed and approved the proposed, amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Information...
