Title: a. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Soledad Community Health Care District for the provision of physician services at Soledad Medical Clinic for the period May 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. There is no cost for this Agreement; and
b. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer for Natividad or his designee to sign up to three (3) future amendments that do not significantly change the scope of work.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Soledad Community Health Care District operates the Soledad Medical Clinic offering various medical services to residents in southern Monterey County. Soledad Medical Clinic is located in a designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and desires assistance with physician services in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology. Natividad will make available a sufficient number qualified physicians to provide obstetrics and gynecology services to pregnant women, mothers and those otherwise unable to access high quality health care. Soledad Community Health Care District will reimburse Natividad the cost of each employee rendering services, there is no cost to this Agreement.
