a. Approve and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to execute a retroactive Agreement with Robert Joseph Poma dba Poma Electric for general electrical repairs and maintenance at Laguna Seca Recreation Area retroactive from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $25,000; and
b. Approve and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to execute up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($2,500) of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to execute a retroactive Agreement with Robert Joseph Poma dba Poma Electric for general electrical repairs and maintenance at Laguna Seca Recreation Area retroactive from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $25,000; and
b. Approve and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to execute up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($2,500) of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
A&D Narigi Consulting, LLC, (A&D) requests approval to enter into an agreement with Robert Joseph Poma dba Poma Electric for general electrical repairs and maintenance at Laguna Seca Recreation Area (LSRA). Poma Electric shall provide estimates for any repair work required and will provide all labor and equipment required to perform said repairs and maintenance. Poma Electric has been handling the electrical needs at LSRA for the past 20+ years and is extremely knowledgeable with the facility’s functionality. No formal electrical plans exist for LSRA or the Track, thus Poma Electric’s historical knowledge is critical to providing timely, proper repairs.
Retroactive approval of this Agreement is requested due to the delay in receiving proper insurance documentation.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of County Counsel has reviewed and approved the Agreement as to form.
FINANCING:
The agreement with Dougherty Pump & Drilling, Inc. will be funded through Fund 453 Laguna Seca Budget Unit 8536. Funding for the Agreement is included in the FY 2021-2022 Approved Budget. Approval of the recommended action will have no additional impact on the County General Fund.
