Adopt a Resolution amending the Bylaws of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council to:
a. Remove member organizations that have dissolved;
b. Update the names of member organizations whose names have changed; and
c. Add new member organizations and "Associate Members."

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Adopt a Resolution amending the Bylaws of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council to:
a. Remove member organizations that have dissolved;
b. Update the names of member organizations whose names have changed; and
c. Add new member organizations and "Associate Members."

SUMMARY:
The recommendations are contained in the proposed resolution entitled Amendment to Resolution 01-286, which is attached.

DISCUSSION:
This resolution updates changes to membership for the Monterey County Domestic Violence Council.


OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Domestic Violence Coordinating Council has representatives from the following county agencies or organizations who participate in the council: Monterey County Probation Department, Monterey County Sheriff's Office, Monterey County Chief Law Enforcement Officers Association, Community Homeless Solutions, YWCA Monterey County, Monterey County Commission on the Status of Women, Monterey County Department of Social Services, County Medical Society, Board of Supervisors, Monterey County Department of Health, Monterey County Office of Education, Faith Community Ministerial Associations, Monterey County Rape Crisis Center, Elder Abuse Consortium, Community Human Services, Lideres Campesinas, Naval Family Advocacy Program and the Army Family Advocacy Program.

FINANCING:
There is no additional impact to the County General Fund.
