a. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to execute a retroactive Standard Agreement between Albert Maldonado dba MP Express and the County of Monterey for design and printing racing-related materials for WeatherTech(r) Raceway at Laguna Seca with a term beginning July 1, 2021, through December 31, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $45,000; and
b. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to execute up to three (3) future amendments to the Standard Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed ten percent (10%), or $4,500, of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work, subject to County Counsel approval.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Laguna Seca Representative to execute a retroactive Standard Agreement between Albert Maldonado dba MP Express and the County of Monterey for design and printing racing-related materials for WeatherTech(r) Raceway at Laguna Seca with a term beginning July 1, 2021, through December 31, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $45,000; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Albert Maldonado dba MP Express (MP Express) is a local full service commercial printing company that has provided services to WeatherTech(r) Raceway at Laguna Seca (WRLS) for more than ten years. MP Express understands WRLS's needs and consistently provides outstanding service and quality products.
This request supports the use of MP Express at WRLS for designing and printing parking and camping passes, and other racing-related materials.
