Title: a. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a new three-year Agreement between the County of Monterey and Central Coast Center for Independent Living (CCCIL) for the provision of work incentive counseling and independent living skills and outreach services for a new maximum County obligation of $575,246, for the retroactive term of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($57,524) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of services.

Central Coast Center for Independent Living in Salinas, CA is one of a nationwide network of Centers for Independent Living whose philosophy is that people with disabilities should have the same civil rights, options and control over choices in their own lives as do people without disabilities.
