Title: a. Ratify the execution by the Director of Health of the Memorandum of Understanding about the California Pathways into Public Health (Cal-PPH) Initiative Fellows/Interns (MOU) with the California Department of Public Health to assign Cal-PPH fellow personnel or intern personnel to the County of Monterey (host agency), effective February 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025; b. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the County of Monterey Board of Supervisors:
a. Ratify the execution by the Director of Health of the Memorandum of Understanding about the California Pathways into Public Health (Cal-PPH) Initiative Fellows/Interns (MOU) with the California Department of Public Health to assign Cal-PPH fellow personnel or intern personnel to the County of Monterey (host agency), effective February 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025;
b. Approve non-standard provisions in the MOU, as recommended by the Director of Health; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
In 2021, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the University of California San Francisco, and the University of California Los Angeles partnered to develop and launch the California Pathways into Public Health Initiative.
