RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or his designee to execute Amendment No. 5 to Agreement No. A-12700 with Granicus, Inc., adding the Legistar Training Database, removing the Performance Accelerator Suite, revising the agreement total from $566,001 to $557,502, with no change to the agreement term; and
b. Approve non-standard terms and conditions based on the recommendation of the Director of ITD and Clerk of the Board.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The County has had an agreement with Granicus to provide an Agenda Management System using Legistar. Legistar is legislative management software used by government agencies and is currently used extensively by the County to manage the it's legislative process. The Legistar training database subscription is needed so that County employees who use Legistar may be better trained on software updates, more efficient in using Legistar, and better equipped to use the full capability of the software. This amendment will allow the Clerk of the Board and other County users to leverage additional functionality and provide a more efficient and sophisticated public board meeting experience.

The removal of the Performance Accelerator Suite is due to the change in hardware reflected in amendment no. 4 and is no longer required with the corrected hardware. Adding the training database and removing the performance suite results in a reduction of the agreement total from $566,001 to $557,502.
