a. Approve and authorize the Treasurer-Tax Collector to execute a non-standard agreement with Granicus, LLC for short-term rental compliance monitoring and associated services for an amount not to exceed $57,734 with a retroactive term of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022;
b. Approve non-standard contract provision as recommended by the Treasurer-Tax Collector; and
c. Approve and authorize the Treasurer-Tax Collector to execute one future amendment, extending the term for one (1) year with County Counsel's review, which does not significantly change the terms and conditions including the non-standard provisions, and which does not exceed 10% of the original agreement amount.

RECOMMENDATION:

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Granicus, LLC's ("Granicus") host compliance service is utilized by the Monterey County Treasurer-Tax Collector Office (TTC) as a component of identification, registering, and monitoring of short-term rentals, as well as pursuing the collection of Transient Occupancy Tax.
