Authorize the Chief Executive Officer for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or a designee to execute Amendment No. 5 to the agreement (A-14112) with Gallun Snow Associates, Inc. for interior design services, specializing in healthcare interior design, pursuant to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) #9600-80, extending the agreement an additional three year period August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2029 for a revised full agreement term of August 1, 2018 through July 31, 2029, and adding $100,000 for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $1,265,000.

It is recommended the Board of Supervisors:

SUMMARY:
Natividad Medical Center (NMC) has twice solicited proposals for hospital interior design services through the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process, under RFQ 9600-48 and RFQ 9600-80. In both instances, only one responsive proposal was received. NMC sought a standalone interior design firm, independent of architectural service companies, with specialized expertise in healthcare environments and the ability to collaborate effectively with hospital staff, architectural and engineering firms, and general contractors.
