Title
a. Approve and Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to execute the Probation Department's Service Agreement with Behavioral Interventions, Incorporated DBA Behavioral Interventions Correctional Services, Incorporated to provide services to adult offenders participating in the Day Reporting Center in an amount not to exceed $521,626 for the period July 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to sign up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the amendments do not exceed ten percent (10%) of the original contract amount and do not significantly change the scope of work;
c. Directed staff to commence a competitive bid process, return in six months or less with proposals, and authorized staff to terminate contract with Behavioral Interventions with a 30 days notice if there are problems.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
