Title: a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute a Master Agreement with CareFusion Solutions, LLC (CareFusion) for the provision of Medmined software used for surveillance, analytics, benchmarking, alerting and reporting in medication management and infection control, including a Customer Order, and containing non-standard risk terms regarding limitation on liability, non-standard insurance provisions, limitation on warranty and indemnification, in an amount not to exceed $288,904 for a 5-year term of March 23, 2016 through March 22, 2021; and b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC or his designee to execute up to three (3) future amendments to the Agreement, which do not significantly alter the scope of work and do not cause an increase of more than ten percent ($28,890) of the original cost of the Agreement per each amendment.

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the Board of Supervisors:
