a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute an agreement with Val's Plumbing, Inc., on substantially similar terms and conditions as established in the County of Monterey Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 10427, for plumbing services that shall not exceed $10,000 per project, for the term October 31, 2016 through November 1, 2017 with an option to extend the Agreement for one (1) additional one (1) year period, and for a total agreement amount not to exceed $75,000.
b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC or his designee to execute up to three (3) future amendments to the agreement which do not significantly alter the scope of work and do not cause an increase of more than ten percent ($7,500) of the total agreement amount.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended the Board of Supervisors:
a.
