RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve and authorize the Contracts Purchasing Officer or the Contracts Purchasing Supervisor to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between PCM-G, a Microsoft licensing reseller, adding $54,366 to the existing amount of $894,149, for the purchase of an additional 426 Enterprise Mobility Solution (EMS) licenses to support Office 365 users with desktop services, mobile security and password management, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $948,515.

SUMMARY:
On March 24, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved a non-standard State and Local Agency Enterprise Enrollment Volume Licensing Agreement with PCM-G, a Microsoft licensing reseller in the amount of $894,149, on an "as-needed" basis, for the provision of various software subscription, software maintenance/support, and implementation services. This agreement with PCM-G provided for the Enterprise Mobility Solution (EMS) subscription, which is an application that is supported in conjunction with the Microsoft Office 365 Gov E3 product. The Information Technology Department (ITD) wishes to increase the total contract amount by $54,366 to purchase an additional 426 EMS software subscriptions to meet the needs of the County.

DISCUSSION:
ITD's contract with PCM-G, authorized the County to procure the EMS subscription and maintenance licenses, which interacts with Microsoft Office365 software.
