Title
a. Approve and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services to sign Amendment No. 1 to PSA1844 between the Department of Social Services and the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation to provide child care services to eligible foster care youth placed in family care settings, adding $114,426, effective March 1, 2018, revising the total contract amount to $174,426 for the term of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018;
b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social Service to sign up to three (3) additional amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($17,442) of the current amended contract amount and do not significantly change the scope of work; and
c. Approve and authorize the Auditor-Controller to amend the FY 2017-18 Adopted Budget for the Department of Social Services Unit 001-5010-SOC005-8262 to increase appropriations and estimated revenues by $114,426 (4/5ths vote required).

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a.
