a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute a five year agreement with Kronos Inc. including one (1) Amendment, to the Kronos Agreement, for software support and professional services at NMC for an amount not to exceed $1,439,000 with an agreement term July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023; and
b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC or his designee to execute up to one (1) future amendment to the agreement which do not significantly alter the scope of work and do not cause an increase of more than ten percent (10%) (143,900) of the original cost of the agreement per the amendment.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended the Board of Supervisors:
a. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute a five year agreement with Kronos Inc. including one (1) Amendment, to the Kronos Agreement, for software support and professional services at NMC for an amount not to exceed $1,439,000 with an agreement term July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023
b. Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for NMC or his designee to execute up to one (1) future amendment to the agreement which do not significantly alter the scope of work and do not cause an increase of more than ten percent (10%) (143,900) of the original cost of the agreement per the amendment.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Natividad Medical Center currently utilizes the Kronos Timekeeper to capture time for all staff employed and to capture time worked for all contracted staff. In addition, NMC completed implementation of Attendance Manager, Basic Scheduler, Productivity and Human Resources (HR) modules.
