a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to sign a three-year term Mental Health Services Agreement (July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2021) with Ronald Triplett, Master of Arts, Marriage Family Therapist (M.A., M.F.T.) for the provision of bilingual mental health services in the amount of $36,000 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19, $36,000 for FY 2019-20, and $36,000 for FY 2020-21, for a total Agreement not to exceed $108,000; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($10,800) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of work.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to sign a three-year term Mental Health Services Agreement (July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2021) with Ronald Triplett, Master of Arts, Marriage Family Therapist (M.A., M.F.T.) for the provision of bilingual mental health services in the amount of $36,000 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19, $36,000 for FY 2019-20, and $36,000 for FY 2020-21, for a total Agreement not to exceed $108,000; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The County currently has Agreement A-12722 with Ronald Triplett, M.A., MFT. which will expire on June 30, 2018. Ronald Triplett, M.A., M.F.T. provides mental health services to bilingual Monterey County residents. The renewal of this Agreement will ensure continued provision of these services for up to three fiscal years for Spanish speaking Monterey County Medi-Cal beneficiaries and CalWORKS recipients.
