RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors acting as the Board of Directors of the East Garrison Community Services District, receive a report on the:
a. Meeting time and place; and
b. Selection of officers
by the East Garrison Community Services District Advisory Committee for the remainder of calendar year 2018.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On October 17, 2017, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors acting as the Board of Directors of the East Garrison Community Services District (EGCSD) adopted Resolution 17-383, establishing an Advisory Committee and By-Laws for the EGCSD.
Section 5 of the EGCSD By-Laws states, "The Committee, at its initial meeting, shall organize by selecting a time and place to meet at least four times each calendar year. All meetings shall be open to the public. The time and place to meet that is established by the Committee at its first meeting shall be presented by the Resource Management Agency to the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, acting as the Board of Directors of East Garrison Community Services District at a meeting of the Board following initial meeting..." At the June 20, 2018, regular meeting of the EGCSD Advisory Committee, the Committee set the following regular meeting dates, time and location for the remainder of calendar year 2018:
