a. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Contracts/Purchasing Officer to execute a Facilities Use Agreement with Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, leasing 2 portable buildings for the Monterey County Workforce Development Board's delivery of services in Seaside, for the term of May 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022, in a total amount not to exceed $8,524.80; and
b. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Contracts/Purchasing Officer to sign up to five (5) amendments to the Facilities Use Agreement, extending the term by one year each, where the amendments do not significantly change the terms of the Agreement.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Monterey County Contracts/Purchasing Officer to execute a Facilities Use Agreement with Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, leasing 2 portable buildings for the Monterey County Workforce Development Board's delivery of services in Seaside, for the term of May 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022, in a total amount not to exceed $8,524.80; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Monterey County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) operates at facilities in Salinas, Marina, and Greenfield, providing workforce services and training to the residents of Monterey County in geographically convenient and accessible places. The MCWDB has been seeking an appropriate and accessible location for a satellite site on the Monterey Peninsula, primarily to house a youth program, but also to provide Adult and Dislocated Worker services.
