RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

(TP Inc.) for the provision of outreach, employment and supportive services for Proposition 47 clients in Monterey County, in the amount of $16,345 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18, $234,040 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19, $345,985 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-20 and $109,952 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21 for a new total Agreement amount not to exceed $706,322.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Board of State and Community Corrections awarded a three-year $6,000,000 grant to the Monterey County Health Department, Behavioral Health Bureau. The Grant entitled "No Zip Code Left Behind: Addressing Inequalities Through Collaborative Partnerships" will focus on
individuals in the criminal justice system in need of mental health, substance abuse treatment and supportive services needed to eliminate barriers to successful reintegration into society and reduce the recidivism rate of people convicted of less serious crimes.
