It is recommended that the County of Monterey Board of Supervisors:

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Felton Institute, formerly Family Service Agency of San Francisco dba Felton Institute, is a non-profit agency providing the (re)MIND program for the provision of prevention and recovery in early psychosis services within the County of Monterey. The (re)MIND program is an evidence-based treatment that identifies psychosis at the earliest possible point to reduce the impact of psychosis on the individual and their family. (Re)MIND has shown to have dramatic improvement reducing crises, avoiding hospitalizations, improving functional capacity, promoting school/workforce participation, and engaging youth and families. This Amendment No. 6 is retroactive to July 1, 2022, due to prolonged contract and rate negotiations.
