RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute Amendment No. 3 to Mental Health Services Agreement A-12775 with Felton Institute, formerly Family Service Agency of San Francisco to formalize Contractor's legal name change to Felton Institute, extend the term for one (1) additional Fiscal Year (FY) for a new term of July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2021, and revise the total Agreement amount from $2,710,000 to $3,330,000, which represents an increase of $620,000 for FY 2020-21.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Felton Institute, formerly Family Service Agency of San Francisco dba Felton Institute, is a non-profit agency providing the (re)MIND program for the provision of prevention and recovery in early psychosis services in Monterey County. The (re)MIND program is an evidence-based treatment that identifies psychosis at the earliest possible point to reduce the impact of psychosis on the individual and their family. (Re)MIND has shown to have dramatic improvement reducing crises, avoiding hospitalizations, improving functional capacity, promoting school/workforce participation, and engaging youth and families.
